Sovereign Medical Transport began as a vision brought to life by Amy and Rick Sovereign—a husband and wife team driven by a shared passion for serving others with integrity, care, and unwavering commitment. With Amy's deep compassion forged from years in healthcare and raising five children, and Rick's dedication to excellence rooted in a successful career managing high-end remodeling projects, they laid the foundation for a company where every detail matters.

Oregon's First NEMTAC®-Accredited Medical Transport Provider
NEMTAC® runs the only national accreditation program built specifically for non-emergency medical transportation, and has set the industry's standards under ANSI accreditation since 2018. To earn it, a provider's safety, service quality, governance, and operational accountability all have to hold up under an independent review. That bar often sits higher than state or local law requires. We've operated Sovereign to that standard since 2016, and in 2026 we became the first provider in Oregon to be accredited.
