Levels of Service Available
Curb to Curb
These procedures are to be used when the member does not need assistance to or from their door, or to or from the facility to which they are being transported.
Door to Door
Also known as “door to desk”, these procedures are to be used when the member needs assistance to and from their pickup and destination addresses. This is our default level of service for all rides if unspecified during booking.
Hand to Hand
Also known as “do not leave alone”, this set of steps is for those members that cannot be left unattended and need a “hand-off” to a particular person or type of person (e.g.receptionist or other staff member).
Transport Options
One Way Trip
We perform many one way trips for passengers needing transport from the airport, train, or other transit stations to a specified location, as well as return rides from procedures that require medical transport after recovery.
Hospital/Facility Discharge
We provide hospital, and facility discharges, and our drivers are able to assist riders with a reasonable amount of personal items between locations ensuring each rider has a reliable way home or to a specialized care facility.
Rider Capacity per vehicle
MAXIMUM RIDER CAPACITY:
2 Wheelchairs and 1 Passenger, or 1 Wheelchair and 4 Passengers
Wait and Return Trip
Oftentimes, riders may need a ride to pick up medical equipment, subscriptions, or make a stop that will only take a short period of time. Which is often the case in a wait and return request. We offer wait and return rides which allow the rider a window of 15 or 30 minutes in which the driver will wait at the destination for the rider to become ready. This expedites the transportation process allowing the rider to get a quick trip too and from errands that do not require a long window between transports. We recommend all riders who are booking wait & returns to have certainty that their stop will not exceed their requested wait window in order to keep additional wait fees from being accrued.
Long Distance/Out Of Area Trips
Sometimes reliable transportation for longer distance transports are not locally available, and we understand that they may be needed. We do offer these rides on a case by case basis, and use a simple metric to determine the costs associated with them. If you are interested in getting a quote on a long distance transport, to include out of state trips, please contact our office via Email or call during regular business hours, and we can assist you with a transport solution.
Provided Wheelchairs
We can provide a wheelchair upon request. We have wheelchairs ranging from Standard, Large and XL Size with stationary extending or elevating & extending leg rests. Please see our Fees (maybe link this?) for the costs associated with having a wheelchair provided. ** Please note that riders that are requesting a wait and return with the same driver will need to be able to transfer into another wheelchair (with assistance) at their destination**
